ReplyDeleteMark Word did NOT design the landscape at Hotel San Jose. That credit belongs to Selena Sounders and Dylan Robertson from Big Red Sun. Dylan now runs another company called DCrain. Mark does maintain the property but it should be made clear who the actual designers were.

Prior to writing this post, I had several sources who reported Mark Word as the landscape designer for Hotel San Jose, including staff at Hotel Saint Cecilia. I went back to my sources and the best clarification I can offer is that Mark Word's website states:
"Plant and stone installation and maintenance since 2001."
